Congratulations to our own Taige Jensen on being nominated for an Emmy for the Political Kombat video series he co-wrote & animated during the 2012 presidential election. If you want to see what Taige’s artistic abilities look like when he’s not being forced to churn out black & white coloring book pages, these videos are a pretty good representation of everything you’ve been missing!

The fine folks at AMC &Breaking Bad decided to send us a small taste of world-renowned Heisenberg meth from their prop department - a token of thanks for letting them use a few of our Breaking Bad coloring book pages in the book of fan art they gave to cast & crew when the show wrapped. They also gave us a thank-you note from Walter White Laboratories and a 4 DVD set of one of the greatest dramas in television history. NO BIG DEAL #BREAKINGSWAG YEAH, SCIENCE!

A few of the Breaking Bad fan art drawings from the screenings we’ve been hosting at Videology in Brooklyn on Sunday nights along with Lagunitas Brewing Co. These screenings didn’t really have an official name but, in retrospect, probably should have been called something clever like "Color me Bad!" or "Color Television!" or "Coloring Outside the Lines of Conventional Morality in A Critically-Acclaimed Television Drama Activity-Fun-Time." Missed opportunities. :/

The pages being colored by the pictured Brooklynites were created by us at Coloring for Grown-Ups, with a few thrown in from our friends over at the Rap Coloring Book. Winning entries received signed copies of Coloring for Grown-Ups or the as-yet unreleased Coloring for Grown-Ups Holiday Fun Book. Our final sponsored screening (and the penultimate episode of Breaking Bad) is tonight.  If previous weeks are any indication, you will need to show up at least an hour in advance if you are a fan of chairs and/or sitting!

Photos of a few of the winners from the Breaking Bad screenings we’ve hosted this summer at Videology in Brooklyn. About half of the pages were designed by us at Coloring for Grown-Ups while the others were kindly contributed by our friend Shea Serrano over at Bun B’s Rap Coloring and Activity Book (in stores as of last week)! P.S. This was the last Breaking Bad screening we’ll be hosting, so we more than likely will go ahead and upload the final batch of Breaking Bad fan art pages tomorrow.

Well, it’s been fun. We’re gonna go see a man about some vacuum parts and will potentially see you guys again when and if that Saul Goodman spinoff ever rolls around.
